Peony Edition, Paper Flower Workshop
DATE: 13 June 10am - 1pm
VENUE: Farnham Pottery
Learn how to make a striking paper peony and master the fundamentals of paper flower construction with professional installation artist Grace, founder of Anna Grace Studios. This is a class suitable for everyone, no prior creative experiences required.
-
Grace will begin with a demonstration, walking you through the entire process from cutting the paper, gluing techniques and how to actually layer and construct the flower. A table of fresh peonies will be laid out for your inspiration, with a selection of beautiful coloured papers for you to choose from.
After Grace has demonstrated the techniques and process and a brief break for refreshments, participants will then begin on their own creations, benefiting from guided personalised tuition from Grace to help you fully realise your creation.
This is an incredible opportunity to learn how to make these stunning paper installations with personalised tuition from a professional installation artist. Grace’s clients include The V&A, Anthropologie, Ottolenghi, Jo Malone and Liberty.
By the end of the class, you’ll be able to understand how to apply the techniques you’ve learnt to create other types of paper flowers too.
