Our retreat days are held in exclusive venues across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire; private homes, chosen for their stunning and intimate settings. A Windsor walled garden, a quintessential English farmhouse and an ancient forest dotted with hammocks are just of a few of the enchanting backdrops, exclusively for Flourish retreat guests.
Our workshops are designed to be intimate learning experiences; two to three-hour masterclasses, held in stimulating venues, designed to get your creativity flowing. Our classes are accessible and fun; we want our participants to be able to recreate and practice the skills they’ve learnt at home; providing a tonic for the stresses and strains of modern life.
Our founders
A wedding and event florist for over a decade, Jess’s floral arrangements are renowned for their dreamy romanticism. Influenced by the British countryside and ever faithful to the seasons, Jess’s tuition celebrates natural flowers and foliage in all its forms. Her floral designs have featured in Country Life and adorned some of the most famous houses in the country.
Brilliant at coaxing her clients and guests to channel and discover their personalities through flora, she is often to be found in a meadow or scouting local flower growers. She is the co-founder of Flourish, along with Polly.
Jessica Symon
Polly has spent her life in the creative arts. Graduating with a degree in textile art, she worked in interior design and in the art direction teams for lifestyle brands Cath Kidston and Anthropologie, before setting up her own stylist business. Her international client base includes Tiffany & Co and together with Jess she has dressed and styled countless weddings and events as well as the homes of private clients.
With a unique way of seeing, Polly can take any space and make it beautiful, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for all those who spend time in her carefully curated spaces.
