Christmas Florals, Table Styling & Calligraphy

Shepherd in a creative Christmas with this multi-skills workshop suitable for all. Learn how to recreate simple florals in your home, design a striking Christmas table and master calligraphy basics with hand-written place names and menus.

In this class you’ll learn three new creative skills to see you through the festive season with flair: How to put together festive floral arrangements for your home, innovative and achievable table styling and the opportunity to try your hand at calligraphy.
Jess will teach how to create simple but striking Christmas florals around your home, Polly will then demonstrate ideas for creative Christmas table styling and the final half of the workshop will be spent learning calligraphy fundamentals with calligraphy artist Lou Paper. You’ll try your hand at gift tags, menus and place settings.
This three-hour workshop, takes place in the beautiful rural setting of Barnsgrove Private Club in northern Hampshire. Participants are welcome to stay on and enjoy lunch at the club after – please reserve your table directly with Barnsgrove.
Refreshments and homemade bakes will be available throughout the session in the morning.

10am: Arrivals, tea and coffee available
10.15am – 11.15am: Christmas florals with Jess followed by functional Christmas table styling with Polly. Learn how to recreate both in your own homes.
11.15am-11.30am: Refreshments with homemade festive treats
11.30am-1pm: Calligraphy fundamentals with Lou. Try your hand at writing gift tags, menus and place settings.
1pm: The workshop ends. Guests wishing to stay on to have lunch at Barnsgrove, please make your reservation directly with the venue’s team on 01256 533135.

Refreshments and homemade snacks will be available on arrival and throughout the session.
All materials will be provided – no need to bring anything. You may want to bring a notebook to take notes on the demonstrations for future reference.
All participants will leave with their own calligraphy set.
The workshop takes place at Barnsgrove Private Members Club, Greywell, Hampshire, RG29 1GF.

Cancellations made 14+ days before the workshop: full refund.
Cancellations made 7–13 days before: 50% refund or credit toward a future session.
Cancellations within 7 days: no refund, but you may transfer your place to another person.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to low enrolment, venue issues, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook.
